Another Robinson (and Holloway) winner! If you're already familiar with Jack Sigler and Robinson's Chess Team, then I don't have to tell you to buy this book. If you aren't familiar with it, then don't buy this book. Go back, buy ALL of Robinson's other books and then buy this one. It will be money well spent and a lot of late night reading where you almost regret it the next day. The pace of these books is so fast, you won't want to put it down. I didn't. I literally just read this book front to back in one sitting. It was worth it!In this continuum novel Jack finds himself at the time of the birth of our great nation. He was hoping not to get involved, but finds himself protecting someone you realize is a very important person!

Robinson and Holloway make an amazing team. The story stands on its own,but I would strongly recommend reading the Chess Team series first. You won't be disappointed.
Well written and a very tight story. Adventure and mystery abound. Voodoo and history collide with some incredibly notable characters. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Love this account of King's journey through time. I only wish that Mr. Robinson wasn't so busy writing other books and spent a little more time bringing history alive to a generation of readers that have forgotten or have not been introduced to many of our great historical heroes that we seem to have forgotten.
Thanks Mr. Robinson! It would be an awesome thing if you could write more about King's journey through the annals of time.
Has to do with finding an island where a pirate buried his caches. A race against the British during the Revolutionary War, where Jack finds himself in this book. It is the 2nd in this series about Jack Sigler. Good book. Keeps one guessing and moving. Even has monsters as in the first book. Great swashbuckling story of the past.
Jeremy Robinson never fails to entertain, and when you combine him with J Kent Holloway, you have a guaranteed winner! In the second of the Jack Sigler Continuum books, we meet a different Jack. However, given that he has lived on the edge of death for the past 100 or so years, it's not really a surprise. Called on by George Washington himself, Jack is tasked to help find the legend of immortality.
I love this series (and anything to do with the Chess Team, if I'm being honest), but I'm also always slightly melancholic for Jack's predicament. Full of action and suspense, thrills and spills, this is another winner!
And if you're a fan of Mr Holloway's Dark Hollows series, you might just notice a cameo )
This is an amazingly fun tale of adventure in colonial American times. Jack Sigler, call sign King, has to live through history to return to his own time. The Continuum series are stories of his adventures in the past.
Patriot has a little bit of voodoo, science and paranormal all rolled together. A few Easter eggs have been hidden for fans of the Chess Team novels, as well as fans of Kent Holloway's series. You may recognize mention of Obediah "Jack" Jackson or the fungi that controls people from the Dark Hallows.
But throughout the book, what I really enjoyed was seeing King wake up to his purpose and becoming himself again. I really hope for more of the Continuum series, they are plain old fun.
Patriot, the second in the Continuum Series of Jack Sigler books, is a wonderful follow up to Guardian, also by Jeremy Robinson and J. Kent Holloway, and I can’t wait for another one! If you are new to Chess Team books, you won’t want to start with this one! Start with Prime or Pulse and then check them all out! It is a fantastic series! Otherwise, if you are caught up and have also read Guardian, this book is a great addition to the Continuum storyline, and you will definitely like it. I’m really enjoying this offshoot series, myself, and I hope Mr. Robinson and Mr. Holloway keep it going!
Ahhh, Jeremy, you've done it again! This story is complete, but man, I Want More! For all you who haven't read any of the Jack Sigler series, this book is still awesome as a single read, BUT you will be driven to buy and read the rest of the series because this is just a tease to what else is out there! Jack Sigler is a modern day extreme black ops expert with his own team. The Jack Sigler of PATRIOT is this same man who has been sent back in time and gets left there. The Pirate Lanme Wa has been alive for 3,000 years and has been in a self imposed hibernation for the last 100 years, in the year 1775, when a group of American patriots go in search of him. General Washingto has sent them on this secret mission, hoping the pirate will assist the Colonies in defeting the British. The terrors these men face are some of the most unusual you will find anywhere! The Voodoo Princess is deliciously evil and the invasive vines reminds you of shades of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS! This is a must read!
